Morpheus8 RF Microneedling
Revitalize and rejuvenate your skin with Morpheus8, a subdermal adipose remodeling skin treatment! This revolutionary technology combines microneedling with radiofrequency heat to offer a superior solution to tighten the jawline, diminish wrinkles, improve skin texture, reduce skin irregularities, and provide a healthier younger looking you! During the treatment, microneedles penetrate the skin to stimulate your body’s natural collagen and elastin production returning a fresh, youthful look to your skin. The radiofrequency heats the deeper layers of the skin to precise temperatures that cause the fibroseptal network to contract and pull your skin tight creating more defined and contoured features.

Frequently Asked Questions
Botulinum Toxin Injections
What's the difference between Botox and Xeomin?
Both Botox and Xeomin are used for similar applications in aesthetics. They also have results that last for a similar period of time. Due to the presence of additional proteins, repeated injections of Botox will sometimes cause resistance by the body, where results don't last as long or the individual requires more units. Xeomin, a more purified version of botulinum toxin, does not tend to have this effect. In addition, Xeomin tends to be cheaper than Botox.
How long do Botox and Xeomin results last for?
In general, both Botox and Xeomin typically last for 3 months. It is important to note that this may vary among individuals. For example it may last less time for people that exercise frequently.
How quickly will I see results with botulinum toxin injections?
While many may start to see some results around 3-5 days, it is important to give it two weeks to see your final results.
What precautions do I need to take after my botulinum toxin injections?
It is important NOT to touch your face or lie down for 4 hours, as this may move the botulinum toxin to undesired places. In fact, many unwanted botulinum toxin effects are seen because the patient touched their faces. Avoid getting excessively hot (working out, being outside in the heat, getting a sauna session) within 4 hours of getting botulinum toxin, as it may inactivate much of the tox. Also avoid excessive facial movements during the first 4 hours. Finally, avoid adding makeup until the next day.
How should I prepare for receiving botulinum toxin injections?
Avoid blood thinners at least 3 days before your botulinum toxin injection session (you should always ask your healthcare provider about stopping aspirin blood thinning medications first to make sure it is ok). Avoid consuming alcohol the day before and day of the procedure. Do not wear makeup on the day of the procedure.
Why do you take pictures before the botulinum toxin injections?
We like to give the patient a "before" photo which demonstrates the wrinkles and problem areas before they receive their botulinum toxin treatments. These pictures will be available on the patient portal so that they can make a comparison.
Dermal Filler Injections
How long do filler results last for?
Dermal filler results with our product typically lasts 6-12 months.
What should I do right after filler treatment?
DO NOT APPLY ANYTHING TO THE SKIN UNTIL THE DAY AFTER TREATMENT: No cleanser, moisturizer, or makeup! To reduce bruising thereafter you can apply Arnica gel or cream 3 times a day. DO NOT massage, touch, or manipulate the injection site. Avoid heavy exercise the day of your treatment. Ice packs may be used on the treated area during the first 12 hours. Ice for 10-15 minutes every hour. Avoid dental work for 30 days after filler injections. Lastly, avoid sleeping on your side or stomach for 24 hours post-treatment to prevent dispersing the product. We recommend you sleep elevated on your back and use pillows to stabilize yourself.
Morpheus8 Microneedling
Does it hurt?
Radiofrequency microneedling involves the placement of numerous small needles within the skin and the emission of heat. As such, some discomfort can be experienced during a session. However, we utilize radiofrequency settings to help maximize comfort. We also provide topical anesthesia that is applied for 30 minutes prior to the procedure to numb the skin and reduce discomfort. The vast majority of patients do not find the procedure as uncomfortable as they had anticipated.
How many treatments do I need? Can I see results with just one treatment?
In general, while you may start seeing some results after just one treatment, we do recommend a series of three treatments to see great results. While many are tempted to just do one session to "test it out", we STRONGLY advise against that as you will be missing out on the full results that the treatment can provide.
How long does it take to see results?
In general the collagen building process after the procedure takes about 4 weeks, which is usually when one will start to see results.
After getting a series of treatments, how long do results last? Will I need "touch-ups"?
Results will typically last about a year, after which point, the collagen starts breaking down gradually. Therefore, we recommend a one-time "touch-up" session yearly.
What should I avoid before a Morpheus8 treatment?
No sun-tanning or self-tanners 2 weeks prior to treatment. This includes spray tans, tanning lotions, tanning beds, sun exposure, etc. Avoid treatments that may irritate the skin for 1-2 weeks prior to treatment (waxing, depilatories, etc.). Avoid treatment with Accutane for 6 months prior to treatment. Stop applying retinol containing creams to the area 5 days before the procedure. Tox injections can be done before treatment, but at least 7 days must elapse. Dermal filler in an area treated by Morpheus8 should be done a few weeks AFTER Morpheus8 treatment. If you had filler placed in an area that you intend to be treated with Morpheus8, it would be best to wait 6 months prior to starting Morpheus8 treatment.
What should I expect after a Morpheus8 treatment?
There will likely be redness to the face for up to 7 days as well as some swelling. Bruising is possible. Avoid sun-tanning 2 weeks after treatment and wear at least SPF30 sunscreen during this time, starting on the day after treatment.
